Never did I think "I" would have something posted on You Tube. Never think "never". I enjoyed the Photostory Project. At times, it was frustrating. In an earlier posting, I talked about how my head was swimming with ideas related to the books I have been reading...few chapters in the Hicks book, a few in the Layne; then, a few in the Kajder book. Can't believe I have 3 going at the same time! They are all facinating. After identifying the story topic and narrowing it down to 21st Century Literacies, things fell into place. As always, I start with the end in mind, which becomes a much larger and more complicated task than it should be. Working from the vision...the end...I found pictures that fit my message. Photos I didn't find, I created. What an adventure!! I spent nights researching and locating items related to the theme and specific slides. Once I had all photos done, it was simple to compose the story....the pictures told the story. All I needed to do was elaborate. The computer did give me some problems with the mic then, the sound. Once that was resolved, it was smooth sailing. Add some music, preview and finally post to You Tube, which was slick.
